U12 NMFC Boys Blue Team Completes Undefeated Season

October 12, 2024 - The Northern Missouri Futbol Club (NMFC) U12 Boys Blue team, coached by John Gardner, finished an outstanding 8-0 season in the Future League run by the Moberly Area Soccer Association. The team scored 32 goals and conceded only four, showcasing a solid defense and effective offense.

Defensive standouts included Emerson Gardner, Brooks Pinkerton, and goalie Carter Baird, who earned five shutouts. Offensive leaders like Toby Cleaver, Graham Dent, Nolan Barwick, and Micah Jachura helped drive the team’s attack, supported by strong substitutes like Ian Garcia Martinez, Tuto Villanueva, and Hayden Eagen.

The boys overcame challenging conditions and tough opponents through teamwork and determination, proudly representing Kirksville. Coach Gardner praised the team’s work ethic and sportsmanship, emphasizing their commitment and enjoyment of the game: “this is a great group of boys who played the right way, worked hard each week in practice, and represent everything that is right about youth sports in Kirksville.”
